About Us
From the beginning…
Jesse spent most of his childhood with a fishing rod in hand. He grew up honing his skills on many small lakes in Otter Tail County. While he was happy to catch any type of fish, the trophy class panfish had a special place in his heart.
Dreams come true…
In 2013, Jesse made the decision to come back to the Henning area and start a guide service. It didn’t take long for word to spread and his schedule became booked solid.
Present day…
Fast forward to today, and Jesse has added a handful of guides to his team to provide more opportunities for his clients. Thalmann’s is currently a full-time, year-round guide service that provides over 300 trips a year. While catching fish is important, Thalmann’s prides itself on providing safe, fun, and informative trips. We are proud to share that over 80% of our trips are with returning customers.
